Stack Tower ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you play Stack Tower ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1 Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate and improve the App:

  • Usage Data: Game session data, high scores, and in-game events (e.g., game start, game over, score achieved).
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version, collected automatically for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
  • Local Preferences: Your high score and sound preferences are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences and never transmitted to our servers.
  • Anonymous Analytics: Aggregated, anonymous gameplay events via Firebase Analytics to understand how players interact with the App.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., by contacting our support team).

2 How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the App.
  • Understand player behavior to enhance gameplay features and performance.
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues and crashes.
  • Monitor app stability and usage trends.
  • Respond to your support requests.

3 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party services (such as Firebase) that help us operate the App. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Stack Tower or others.

We do not share identifiable data with advertisers or marketing platforms.

4 Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage statistics. This helps us understand how players engage with the App so we can improve it. Firebase Analytics uses device identifiers that are not linked to your personal identity.

You can opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection by adjusting your device's advertising settings or by disabling analytics in your device's app settings (where available).

For more information, visit Google's Privacy Policy.

5 Data Storage & Security

High scores and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to external servers. Anonymous analytics data is processed by Firebase (Google) and stored on Google's infrastructure, which employs industry-standard security measures.

We take reasonable precautions to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6 Children's Privacy

Stack Tower is designed to be enjoyed by players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at tungtd95@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.

7 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: Request a copy of any data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by uninstalling the App.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Opt-Out: Opt out of analytics data collection via device settings.

To exercise these rights, contact us at tungtd95@gmail.com.
